St. Louis forward Bratton makes college commitment

April 29, 2021

Jared Bratton played in the 2021 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament.

The St. Louis Jr. Blues of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Jared Bratton has joined teammates Joey Boccardi and Matthew McGowan in committing to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Missouri State University.

“Jared was a consistent contributor to our offense and played a pivotal role for the team,” said former Jr. Blues GM and head coach Chris Flaugher. “Jared brought speed and skill every time he took the ice and will do the same at the collegiate level.”

Bratton, 18, lit the lamp 15 times and added 20 assists for 35 points during the 2020-21 season. He was the Jr. Blues leading scorer and was also selected to and played in the 2021 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for Team Krampade.

Prior to joining the St. Louis Jr. Blues, Bratton played for the St. Louis Amateur Blues Tier I program. Bratton was also standout for the Fox Warriors high school club.

Bratton is added to the list of former St. Louis Jr. Blues to attend Missouri State and will follow in his older brother Jordy’s footsteps in wearing the maroon and white for the Ice Bears.
