Ice Wolves beat Rhinos on Thanksgiving, 8-1
New Mexico 8 @ El Paso 1 – Seven different players scored for the Ice Wolves as they concluded their extended roadtrip with an 8-1 win over the Rhinos on Thanksgiving Day.
New Mexico grabbed the lead early, scoring four goals in the 1st period, which included tallies from Kennan Reyelts, Zak Wentworth, Tristen Babich, and Stanley Hubbard.
El Paso scored the lone goal in the 2nd period off the stick of Kyle Arias to make it 4-1.
In the 3rd period, the Ice Wolves pulled away with four more goals as Reyelts scored his second of the game and Jack Arnold, Ethan Hull, and Bode Ensign also found the back of the net.
Reyelts led the way on the day with two goals and an assist for three points.
Owen Zenone returned from his stint in the NAHL, making 19 saves in the win.
