Sheridan 5 @ Badlands 7 – Hunter Fischbach and Mason Martin each scored twice as the Sabres picked up their first NA3HL win thanks to a 7-5 win over Sheridan. The Sabres got 1st period goals from Seth Stock, Fischbach, and Martin, while Sheridan countered with two goals from Makhai Sparks and another from Nathan Gilleshammer. In the 2nd period, the Sabres seized control with three more goals including another from Fischbach and Martin and one from Zach Vockler. The Hawks tried to comeback with goals from McCaffrey Billings and Dominick Palumbo, but a late goal from Levi Knight secured the win. Maxim Currie made 28 saves in the win, while Thomas Kuriscak made 38 saves in the loss.
Yellowstone 2 @ Gillette 13 – Caleb Sanborn and Tucker Lien each had a hat-trick and an assist as the Wild beat the Quake, 13-2. The game was decided early as the Wild went off for four goals in the 1st period and Sanborn and Lien both scored in addition to Declan Young and Alex Duchemin. The Wild scored six more goals in the 2nd period, including another from both Lien and Sanborn and others from Zack Slinger, Isaac Young (2), and Leighton Weasler. The Quake netted their two goals to make it 10-2 as Brandon Kididis and Keegan Ferguson scored. In the final period, Tristan Baker scored and Sanborn and Lien both completed their hat-tricks. Jack Orchard made 21 saves in the win and Logan Brown made 65 saves in the loss.
Mid Cities 0 @ TX RoadRunners 9 – Hunter Hein posted a 29-save shutout as the RoadRunners opened up South Division play with a 9-0 win over Mid Cities. Jason Ketterman scored the first two goals of the game and Travis Denton also scored to put the home side ahead 3-0 after the 1st period. Tyler Love scored twice and Derek Boutin, Kyle Portlock, and Samuel Bourdon added 2nd period goals and Jack Herron scored in the 3rd period. Mid Cities goalies Drew Donohue and Adler Hoagland made 65 saves in the loss.
Granite City 5 @ Minnesota 2 – The Lumberjacks got two goals from Hayden Hennen as they handed the Loons a 5-2 loss in their NA3HL debut. The Loons got on the board first thanks to a goal from Kyler Couture. The Lumberjacks then rattled off four straight goals as Nick Mountain, Nicholas Richert, Wilson Dahlheimer, and Hennen all scored. Jamison St. Clair scored for the Loons to make it 4-2, but another goal from Hennen put the game on ice. Lumberjacks goalie Xander Roberts made 10 saves in the win, while Loons goalie Owen Reeve made 53 saves in the loss.
Rochester 5 @ Oregon 1 – Kyle Bauer scored twice to lead the Grizzlies to an opening night 5-1 win over Oregon. Rochester got off to a fast start, taking a 2-0 lead in the first eight minutes on goals from Bauer and Max Breon. The Tradesmen made it 2-1 before the end of the period with their lone goal from Jason Tenezaca. Bauer added his second of the game early in the 2nd period to make it 3-1 and Kolton Kane and Cole Gibson also added goals to make it a 5-1 final. Zach Wiese made 15 saves in the win, while Cole Garver made 31 saves in the loss.
Butte 1 @ Bozeman 6 – The Icedogs got goals from six different players as they won their home opener, 6-1 over the Cobras. Butte scored first on a goal from Cade Wessman, but it was all Bozeman after that as Luke Busher, Luke Hartmark, and Nolan Conrad all scored later in the 1st period to take a 3-1 lead. Nick Stevens added a 2nd period goal and Grayden Pond and Colton Boyd added 3rd period goals. Liam Scott made 14 saves in the win, while Dale Pfannenstein made 28 saves in the loss.
