June 30, 2009
The North Iowa Outlaws have announced that Todd Sanden has been named the team’s new assistant coach.
Sanden joins the Outlaws after coaching 450-plus games as a head coach in the USHL and the Minnesota Junior League. He is a three-time USA Hockey national champion at the Junior B level.
“Todd is going to be a great addition to our coaching staff, and I know his talents will compliment (new Outlaws head) Coach (Garrett) Strot’s coaching style very well,” said Outlaws general manager Rick Wesp. “We’ve got some great things happening here.”
Sanden resides in Anoka, Minn., with his wife Teresa, and children, Nick and Emily.
