North Iowa and Flint battle for Silver Cup on Sunday

The 2014 Silver Cup comes to its dramatic conclusion on Sunday at the Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva, Illinois with the Championship Game scheduled for 2pm.

 

The North Iowa Bulls will face the Flint Junior Generals in the Championship Game. On Saturday, North Iowa defeated Flint 7-3 in a somewhat subdued Championship preview as several top players were held out of the line-up. It will be a match-up of the NA3HL's #1 offense in North Iowa against the NA3HL's #1 defense in Flint.

 

North Iowa and Flint, have also secured their spots in the USA Hockey Tier III Junior National Championships next week in Connecticut. The results today will place them in different pools at the event.
