Two North Stars players make college plans

The Breezy Point North Stars of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are pleased to announce that two players have recently made their college commitments.
Forwards Blair Seitz and Kyle Whipple have committed to Midland University. They were recruited to play for the Midland Warriors under Head Coach Jason Cirone, who formally was the head coach for the NA3HL’s Metro Jets.
Seitz, 19, was in his second year of playing in the NA3HL. The native of Virginia, Minnesota joined the North Stars midway through the season after playing the first part of the 2013-14 season for the Minnesota Flying Aces. In 29 games with the North Stars, Seitz (5’10/180) had 15 points. In 46 NA3HL games during the season, Seitz had 21 points.
In 88 career NA3HL games, Seitz had 36 career points. He also played on Team West at the 2014 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament in February.
Whipple, 20, was tied for 3rd on the team in scoring this season with 21 points. The native of Chelsea, Michigan was in his second season of playing for the North Stars. Whipple (5’9/170) played in 90 career NA3HL games and recorded 36 career points.
Midland will begin their first season of play during the upcoming 2014-15 season and will a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division I.
