Three Flint players make college plans

Justin Fisher played in the 2014 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament.
The Flint Junior Generals, who just completed their final season of competition in the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that three more players from the club have made their college commitments.
Forwards Justin Fisher and Trevor Benaglio have committed to play for Adrian College in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division I and forward Luke Dmytro has committed to play for Eastern Michigan University, also an ACHA Division I program.
Fisher, 20, finished as the most prolific scorer of the group as his 50 points this past season tied for the team lead. He also led the club with 36 assists during the regular season. The native of Flushing, Michigan, also was selected to play in the 2014 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament back in February in Troy, MI. In seven NA3HL playoff games this season, Fisher had four points.
Benaglio, 21, just completed his junior career and second season with the Junior Generals. In 41 regular season games this year, Benaglio had 27 points, which included 5 goals and 22 assists. The native of Battle Creek, Michigan appeared in 82 career NA3HL regular season games in his career and had 44 points.
Dmytro, 21, just finished his junior hockey career, which spanned three years and included three different stops in the NA3HL, two of them with Flint. The native of New Hudson, Michigan, played in 40 games with the Junior Generals during the regular season and had 13 points. He also appeared in three games with the NAHL’s Michigan Warriors during the 2013-14 season. In 2011-12, he made his junior debut with Flint and in 2012-13, he played a handful of games for the Peoria Mustangs.
