Breezy Point 6 @ Alexandria 3 - A hat trick by Joe Costello was the highlight in North Stars' 6-3 win against the Alexandria Blizzard. Costello notched his first tally 6:15 into the second period. He then added goals at 1:38 into the third and at 5:31 into the third. Breezy Point additionally got points from Tyler Larwood, who also had one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Breezy Point also got a goal from Jordan Carey as well. Alexandria was helped by Gavin Mindt, who grabbed one goal and two assists. Mindt scored on the power play 4:34 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Alexandria. Alexandria also got points from Kyle Jones, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Alexandria also had goals scored by Bo Gronseth and Aaron Ryback, who scored one goal each. Jaxson Gosnell made 32 saves for Breezy Point on 35 shots.
La Crosse 2 @ Wisconsin 3 (OT) - The Wisconsin Whalers' Alex Anderson scored 3:53 into overtime to beat the La Crosse Freeze, 3-2 (OT). Wisconsin was led by Anderson, who finished with one goal. Wisconsin additionally got points from Ryan Martin, who also registered one goal and one assist. Wisconsin also got a goal from Nolan Kepler as well. La Crosse was helped by Hunter Smith, who tallied one goal. Smith scored on the power play 10:10 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Jack Sterne also scored for La Crosse. Chris Johansen made 44 saves for Wisconsin on 46 shots.
West Michigan 1 @ Chicago 4 - Sam Harden stood on his head and made 30 saves to lead the Chicago Junior Bulldogs to a 4-1 victory over the West Michigan Wolves. Chicago was sparked by Taylor Hamilton, who tallied one goal and one assist. Hamilton scored 7:45 into the third period to make the score 2-0 Chicago. Kyle Barna picked up the assist. The Junior Bulldogs forced West Michigan goalie Kyler Patenaude to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots. Chicago also got points from Barna, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Chicago included Matt Blaszkiewicz and Ryan Maksimovic, who scored one goal each. More assists for Chicago came via Tyler Seltenriech, who had two and Max Piper, Toms Taurins, and Michael Howard, who each chipped in one.
Great Falls 7 @ Glacier 5 – Dylan Garton and Lucas Lomax each scored twice as the Americans came from behind to defeat Glacier, 7-5. Also scoring for Great Falls was Marvin Simmons, Cody Page and Mile Giorgione. Zack Mese had good game as well with four assists. Matt Gamblin paced the Nationals offense with four points and Gavin Lubin had two goals.
Gillette 2 @ Billings 4 – The Bulls erased a 2-0 deficit and scored four straight goals to defeat the visiting Wild, 4-2. Bryce Mitzel had both goals for the Wild to put them ahead 2-0. The Bulls responded with two goals from Josh Pena and others from Alex Lundstrom and Steven Thompson.
Twin City 5 @ North Iowa 8 – Down 5-1 late in the 2nd period, the Bulls scored seven straight goals to defeat the Twin City Steel 8-5 on Friday. Things looked good for the Steel as Kyle Wagner, David Becker, Jon Plaszcz, James Hale and Jake McGlocklin scored to put them ahead 5-1. The Bulls had a goal from Dylan Zins, but not much else until late in the 2nd period as they started the seven-goal barrage with tallies from Johnny Panvica, Connor Bump, Brett Gravelle, Joe Burgmeier, Austin Jackson and two from Ryan Durant.
Granite City 4 @ Minnesota 1 – Sam Goetsch made 21 saves as Granite City outshot Minnesota 53-22 in a 4-1 road win. Jared Sprink had two goals for the Lumberjacks and Blake Phenow and Travis Kothenbeutel also scored for the Lumberjacks. Colton Jones had the lone goal for the Flying Aces.
