Nils Markgren had the overtime winner to help Pittsburgh stay in a 1st place tie in the East with a 3-2 win.

Pittsburgh 3 @ Toledo 2 (OT) - The Pittsburgh Vengeance's Nils Markgren scored 1:31 into overtime to beat the Toledo Cherokee, 3-2 (OT). Pittsburgh got the win with help from a great game by Eli Lynn, who had one goal and two assists. Lynn scored 59 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-1 Pittsburgh. Tyler Speis picked up the assist. Pittsburgh additionally got points from Speis, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for Metro came via Zach Koonce, who had two and Tyler Layle, Jason Newel, and Graham Day, who contributed one each. The two teams needed 12 turns to complete the shootout. Granite City got shootout goals from Michael Orke, Dallas Marvin, and Tanner Skaja. In addition to the clincher, Alexandria got shootout goals from AJ Gullickson, Tyler Berginski, and Tom Schmidt. The Blizzard saw a three-goal lead disappear, but was able to secure the win in a shootout. Alexandria made the score 5-2 on a short handed goal by Tyler Sworsky at 17:02 in the second period.
