Friday Finals: East Coast, New York, Roc City win on Opening Night

Roc City 3 @ Lockport 1 - Justin Nevinger had a standout game with 52 saves, and Roc City beat Lockport 3-1. Roc City was paced by Sam Cammilleri, who finished with one goal. Cammilleri scored on the power play 16:46 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Roc City. Anthony DePetres picked up the assist. Roc City additionally got points from DePetres, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Roc City also got a goal from Patrick Manning as well. Syracuse 1 @ New York 6 - New York had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over Syracuse. New York got the win thanks to a great game by Jimmy Warrick, who had two goals and one assist. Warrick scored the first of his two goals short handed at 11:10 into the second period to make the score 2-0 New York. Warrick's next tally short handed made the score 6-1 New York with 10:48 left in the third period. Daniel Backstrom provided the assist.
