Jersey Shore took a 2-0 lead during the second period, only to have Wilkes-Barre storm back on a Ryan Flanagan goal 5:11 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Jersey Shore was led by Bogdan Khvatov, who registered one goal. Khvatov scored 7:03 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Jersey Shore. Jared Karas provided the assist. Jersey Shore forced Wilkes-Barre goalie Devin Peterson to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots. Christian Cooley also scored for Jersey Shore. In addition, Jersey Shore received assists from Ben Wingbermuehle, Scott Hansen, and Freddie Schaljo, who each chipped in one. More assists for Wilkes-Barre came via Dalton Olive, who had one. Bobby Dovenero made 23 saves for Jersey Shore on 24 shots.
