Roc City 4 @ New York 5 (OT) - New York's Eric Hewitt scored 3:02 into overtime to beat Roc City, 5-4 (OT). New York got the win behind a great game by Hewitt, who had two goals and two assists. Hewitt scored the first of his two goals at 19:55 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Michael House provided the assist. Hewitt's next tally made the score 5-4 New York with 16:58 left in overtime. Jimmy Warrick picked up the assist. Mitchell Eldridge picked up the assist. Cape Cod also got points from Chuck Costello, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Maxime Dordet also scored for Cape Cod. Wilkes-Barre 1 @ Jersey Shore 2 - Jersey Shore survived a determined comeback attempt by Wilkes-Barre on the way to a 2-1 win. Jersey Shore took a 2-0 lead during the second period, only to have Wilkes-Barre storm back on a Ryan Flanagan goal 5:11 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Jersey Shore was led by Bogdan Khvatov, who registered one goal. Khvatov scored 7:03 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Jersey Shore. Jared Karas provided the assist. Jersey Shore forced Wilkes-Barre goalie Devin Peterson to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots. Christian Cooley also scored for Jersey Shore. In addition, Jersey Shore received assists from Ben Wingbermuehle, Scott Hansen, and Freddie Schaljo, who each chipped in one. More assists for Wilkes-Barre came via Dalton Olive, who had one. Bobby Dovenero made 23 saves for Jersey Shore on 24 shots.
