Pittsburgh 3 @ West Michigan 2 (SO) - Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Pittsburgh defeated West Michigan in a shootout 3-2 (2-0 SO). The shootout lasted for five attempts between the teams. Pittsburgh also got a shootout goal from Gavin Cummings. Pittsburgh overcame a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. Pittsburgh trailed 2-1 after a power play goal by West Michigan's Corey Siwula at 4:08 in the third period. Pittsburgh tied things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Ryker Barber at 12:02 in the third period. Pittsburgh kept West Michigan's goalie busy throughout the game, and Joe Licata made 40 saves on 43 shots. James Unger also scored for Pittsburgh. In addition, Pittsburgh received assists from Kenny White, who had one and Cummings, who had two. West Michigan additionally got points from Dakota Ulmer, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for West Michigan were Joe Zottola and Devin Farkas, who each chipped in one. Marcus Gloss recorded 43 saves for Pittsburgh.

Southern Tier came back from a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. Southern Tier fell behind 4-1 after a goal by Wooster's Carmon Teel at 4:14 in the second period. Southern Tier knotted things up at 4-4 on a goal by Brian Grant at 14:05 in the third period. Southern Tier was led by Nathan Butkowski, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Butkowski scored 16:20 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Wooster. Curtis Carlson provided the assist. Southern Tier also got points from Carlson, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Joseph Gerace also scored for Southern Tier. More assists for Southern Tier came via Elijah Williams and Victor McCutcheon, who each chipped in one. Southern Tier's Ryan Pascarella stopped 35 shots out of the 39 that he faced.

Sugar Land 5 @ Louisiana 2 - Sugar Land had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over Louisiana. Kyle Hooper had one goal and two assists to lead Sugar Land. Hooper scored on the power play 4:16 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Sugar Land. A holding penalty on Timothy Zittel had put Sugar Land on the power play. Keith Allen picked up the assist. Sugar Land additionally got points from Matt Cozzan, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Sugar Land also got a goal from Jonathan Adnell as well. In addition, Sugar Land received assists from Zac McKenna, Estevan Cortes, and Frank Muscarella, who contributed one each. Louisiana was helped by Brayden Hutchinson, who tallied one goal. Hutchinson scored on the power play 17:18 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Sugar Land. Dante Juris assisted on the tally. Mitch Dolese also scored for Louisiana.
