Chicago names McIlrath new GM/Head Coach

The Chicago Jr. Bulldogs, members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce the hiring of new general manager and head coach, Todd McIlrath.
 
McIlrath is beginning his fifth season coaching junior hockey. His previous experience includes working with teams in the NoJHL, MnJHL and NA3HL. 
 
He brings years of experience from his own junior, college and professional playing career. His junior hockey career began in the NAHL with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. From there he played three years in the USHL with the Danville Wings and Indiana Ice. During his first season in Indiana he accepted a full athletic scholarship to Bowling Green State University. 
 
After three years playing at the NCAA Division 1 level, Todd began a professional career that covered the AAHL, FHL, SPHL, CHL and ECHL. He is originally from southeastern Michigan, but currently resides in Madison, WI with his wife Niki and daughter Evangeline.
 
Kevin Hart has stayed on as an Assistant Coach.
