New England runs win streak to 12 with victory on Sunday

New England 6 @ Maine 1 – The New England Stars ran their winning streak to 12 straight games as Mitchell Fehd registered two points to lead New England to a 6-1 victory over Maine. New England additionally got points from John Krapian, who also had one goal and one assist and Brandon Hamner, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for New England included Tim Paige, Arya Saliany, and Derek Lovejoy, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for New England were Brendan Miller, who had two and Hunter McTague, Kyle Weiss, Aidan Conlon, and Ian Gately, who contributed one each. Noel Fischer also scored for Maine. In addition, Maine received assists from Zach Gagne and Shayne Plummer, who each chipped in one. New England's Dominic Lamanno stopped 21 shots out of the 22 that he faced.

Roc City 4 @ New York 2 - In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Roc City escaped with a 4-2 victory over New York. Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Brandon Corey's goal in the second period proved to be the difference maker. Roc City forced New York goalie Matthew Memolo to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots. Roc City also had goals scored by Robert Vasta and Sam Cammilleri, who scored one goal each. In addition, Roc City received assists from Anthony DePetres, who had two and Joseph Gardner and Mike Elliott, who each chipped in one. New York forced Roc City's netminders to work in net, taking 44 shots and forcing 42 saves. Ian Stahl made 20 stops and Justin Nevinger made 22. New York was helped by Chris Hozza, who finished with one goal. Hozza scored 1:43 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Daniel Backstrom picked up the assist. Jimmy Warrick also scored for New York. Other players who recorded assists for New York were Robert Kalata, Gunther Stange, and Augie Onorato, who contributed one each.

East Coast 1 @ Skylands 6 - Skylands had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over East Coast. East Coast was stymied by Skylands' netminder Mathias Yttereng, who stopped 34 shots during the victory.  Skylands was helped by Alex Linquito, who had one goal. Linquito scored short handed 7:31 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Skylands. Hunter Ledwith provided the assist. Skylands additionally got points from Matt Sinatra, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Ledwith, who also tallied two goals and one assist to lead the team in points, and Ernest Komarnitskii, who also registered one goal and one assist. Skylands also got a goal from Antonio Martiniello as well. In addition, Skylands received assists from Cole Skelly and Mike King, who each chipped in one and Cory Decosta and Alec Sanchez, who contributed two each. East Coast was led by Curtis Harper, who scored the team's only goal. Harper scored on the power play 16:52 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Skylands. Mason Smith assisted on the tally.

Northeast 3 @ L/A Fighting Spirit 7 - Lewiston/Auburn's Colby Siering had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 7-3 win over Northeast. Siering beat Trevor Trudeau with a shot 11:31 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Lewiston/Auburn. Walker Hamilton picked up the assist. Siering dished an assist on Austin Siering's goal that made the score 1-0 Lewiston/Auburn at 7:20 into the first period. He added another helper on Brett Bittner's goal that made the score 6-1 Lewiston/Auburn at 19:29 into the second period. Lewiston/Auburn additionally got points from Mike Heffernan, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Bittner, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Siering, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Mark Ferullo, who also had one goal and one assist. Simon Corriveau also scored for Lewiston/Auburn. More assists for Lewiston/Auburn came via Tyler Sheridan, David Fish, and Alexander Friend, who contributed two each. Northeast was helped by Kevin Perry, who tallied one goal and one assist. Perry scored on the power play 6:17 into the third period to make the score 6-2 Lewiston/Auburn. Alex ODowd assisted on the tally. Northeast also got points from Austin Braley, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Northeast also got a goal from Travis Hyde as well.
