Atlanta forward Laukaitis gets call to the NAHL

January 4, 2016
The Atlanta Capitals of the NA3HL are proud to announce that forward Artus Laukaitis has been called up and affiliated to play for the Topeka Roadrunners. This is Laukaitis’ first season with the Capitals organization and first game action with the Roadrunners this season.

“He is our second player seeing game action this season with the Roadrunners which shows the strength of our organizational structure from top to bottom,” said Head Coach Anthony Bohn.

So far this season the 6'1/200 lbs. forward Laukaitis has registered 20 goals, 22 assists for 42 points in just 26 games in the first half of the schedule for the Capitals. His 42 points puts him tied 4th in the league scoring race with Capitals own Alex Johanson.

“Artie is a fluid skater with a great skill set. His size, combined with his speed, allows him to go into areas and make plays that you don’t see often. He is such a talented player but even a better person and locker room guy, like most of our players in Atlanta. We wish him all the luck and hope for his continued development,” said Bohn.

Laukaitis played this past weekend for the RoadRunners in their series againsy the Corpus Christi Ice Rays.
