Bozeman forward Amundson gets call to the NAHL
January 12, 2016
The Bozeman Icedogs, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Kyle Amundson has been called up the NAHL to play for the Minnesota Magicians.
Amundson, 18, was called up this past weekend and played for the Magicians in their home-and-home series against the Minnesota Wilderness. Although the Magicians dropped both games, the native of Hermantown, MN, played very well and recorded a goal in each of the two games.
Amundson was also a +4 during the weekend and had three shots on goal.
Amundson (6’1/190) had played in nine games this season with the Icedogs during his rookie junior campaign. He started the season on a seven-game point streak, in where he recorded all 13 points he had accumulated to date, including five goals and eight assists.
Prior to playing in the NA3HL and NAHL, Amundson was a standout forward for Hermantown High School in Minnesota, where he helped lead his team to three straight Class A state championship game appearances.
