Wildcats win battle of 1st place teams on final day of Showcase

Jersey Shore 5 vs. Cape Cod 3 – In a battle of the two 1st place teams in the NA3EHL, Jersey Shore gutted out a close 5-3 win against Cape Cod, which snapped the Islanders 17-game winning streak. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and John Rubin secured the win for Jersey Shore with a goal in the third period. Jersey Shore additionally got points from Jared Karas, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Roc City 8 vs. Northeast 1 - Matt Corey netted a hat trick to lead Roc City over Northeast, 8-1.
