North Stars duo make college commitments

The Breezy Point North Stars of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that two players have made college commitments.
Forwards Nick Blanchette and Torin Foundos will play at the ACHA Division I level for Jamestown University in Jamestown, North Dakota.
Blanchette, 19, is in his second season with the North Stars in the NA3HL. The native of Aitkin, MN, has recorded 14 points (8 goals, 6 assists) in 34 games to date and also is one of the team captains for the North Stars.
Blanchette (6’5/205) also played last season recording 12 points in 42 games. In his NA3HL career, he has a total of 26 points in 76 games played.
Foundos, 20, began his junior hockey career during the 2012-13 season with the Minnesota Flying Aces. This season, the native of Naperville, IL, has recorded five points in 35 games played.
Foundos (5’8/170) also has junior playing experience with the Billings Bulls, where he spent two seasons from 2013-15. The veteran has played in 139 career games with Breezy Point, Billings and Minnesota.
