Atlanta forward Laukaitis to represent Lithuanian National team

The Atlanta Capitals of the NA3HL are proud to announce that Arturas Laukaitis has been selected to compete for his home country of Lithuania, in the IIHF Men’s World Championships. 
 
Lithuania competes in the Division 1-group B division. 
 
The  (6’2 205lbs) Laukaitis finished his first season with the Capitals compiling a new team record 34 goals, 43 assists for 77 points and a remarkable +65.  He was selected for the NA3HL Top Prospects U18 team where he finished with 5 points in 3 games.
 
“Artie is an elite player, he posses a skill level that will translate to the next level and to be selected to compete on a men’s national team only shows that,” said Head Coach Anthony Bohn. 
 
Training camp for the Lithuania team will start July 3rd until July 15th. They will practice and train everyday with 4 friendly games scheduled.
 
“My time in Atlanta was the best choice I could of made and my best season in my career. The facilities are the best I’ve seen from the gym to the rink and couldn’t have asked for a better staff to prepare me for the next phase of my life” said Laukaitis. 
 
Laukaitis continued, “ Our team was a true team and the players believed in one of another. It was truly a testament to how the coaches approached each day and how being a good teammate was the most important thing and I’ll take that with me forever”.
