Long Beach forward Sacco makes NCAA commitment

The Long Beach Sharks of the NA3HL are proud to announce that forward Dominick Sacco, 21, has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for St. Norbert College of the NCHA beginning this fall.
“I am thrilled for Dominick as he has finally reached his goal of playing for a top end NCAA program. We are looking forward to watching everything that he will accomplish on the ice and in the classroom,” stated Head Coach Mike Stanaway.
In 15 regular season games the Brooklyn, New York native netted 25 goals and 24 Assists for 49 points. He had an additional nine points in five playoff games.
He was also named the NA3EHL Forward of the Month in January.
Sacco (5’9/170) played in 161 career games in the USHL prior to finishing his junior career in New York. From 2011 through 2016 he played for the Omaha Lancers, Lincoln Stars and Muskegon Lumberjacks.
In 161 career USHL games, Sacco had 63 career points.
