North Iowa goalie Benson gets call to the NAHL

The North Iowa Bulls, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that goaltender Josh Benson has been called up to the NAHL to play for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.
Benson, 19, has been very good for the Bulls posting a 7-0 record in 7 starts with one shutout. He is currently carrying a .941 save percentage and a goals against average of 1.54 in NA3HL competition.
Benson, a 6’1/90 lbs. native of Stillwater, Minnesota, has been named the Central Division Star of the week for the last two weeks in a row.
"We are not surprised this opportunity has presented itself at this time. He is playing well and has a lot of confidence right now," said Bulls head coach Todd Sanden.
