B2 to broadcast select Midget games
The North American Hockey League has announced that select games at this week’s NAHL Midget Showcase Series will be video broadcast over the Internet through B2 Networks.
The U18 division’s 13th- and 14th-seed game (9 a.m. CST), 9th- and 10th-seed game (11 a.m.) and championship game (1 p.m.) – which will all be played on Sunday, December 16 – will be broadcast via B2.
“Having these games broadcast over the Internet is a tremendous opportunity for family and friends who can’t make it to St. Louis to watch and hear everything as it happens,” said NAHL commissioner Mark Frankenfeld.
Family and friends wanting to watch the event via B2 Networks will need a high-speed Internet connection and a current version of Microsoft Windows Media Player. Each of the games can be viewed for $6 (U.S.).
The games will be available for viewing through the official Web site of the NAHL Midget Showcase Series, www.nahlmidgetshowcase.com, as well as www.b2livetv.com.
Next week’s event, which is the second tournament of the three-leg NAHL Midget Showcase Series, will be held Dec. 13-16 at The Summit Center in Chesterfield, Mo., home of the St. Louis Bandits.
Fourteen (14) teams will compete in the Midget Major division (U18) and ten (10) will skate in the Midget Minor (U16).
