St. Louis defenseman Jones called back up to NAHL

November 25, 2017
The St. Louis Jr. Blues, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that defenseman Ben Jones has been called up for a second time by the NAHL’s Springfield Jr. Blues for their series this weekend at the Minnesota Magicians.

A left-hander from Imperial, Mo., the 5’11”, 190 lb junior rookie has scored one goal and added ten assists in 13 games for St. Louis with a +12 rating. In his previous stint with Springfield earlier this November, Jones played in one game at Janesville, where he recorded one assist and finished the night +1.

“For [Springfield head coach] Tyler Rennette to show so much confidence in Ben to promote him again just shows the kind of player and person he is,” said St. Louis head coach Chris Flaugher. “He’s a true battler who plays a 200-foot game and is willing to fill any role, and we’re excited to see him back at the NAHL level.”
