Texas Brahmas duo of Myers and Bersani called up to NAHL

The Texas Brahmas of the NA3HL are pleased to announce NAHL promotions and call-ups of goaltender Tyler Myers and forward Hunter Bersani.
Goaltender Tyler Myers, 19, has been call up to and will be suiting up for the NAHL’s Corpus Christi Ice Rays this weekend. The 6’0/200 lbs. native of Thornton, CO, has some of the best goalie numbers in the league this season, which includes an 8-1-0 record, a 1.55 GAA and a 92.1% save percentage.
“Tyler has been consistent and steady all season. He works hard on and off the ice and is always one of the first volunteers in the community. Tyler has also started to garner some college interest and is in the process of weighing his future options. This will make Tyler’s second NAHL call up in as many years. Last season he had the opportunity to suit up with the Amarillo Bulls. The Brahmas organization is very happy for Tyler and excited about his future,” said Texas head coach Michael Hill.
Bersani, 19, got the call up from our the Texas Brahmas affiliate, the Lone Star Brahmas. Hunter was a preseason tender with Lone Star and started with Texas to fine-tune his game. In 18 games played this season, the 6’1/190 lbs. native of Allen, TX, in 2nd in team scoring with 31 points. Bersani played in the 2017 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament and is also an NAPHL alum.
“Hunter has done everything we’ve asked of him and more. Hunter is the definition of leader. He has passion for this game and a contagious personality that filters to the whole team. The Brahmas are very proud of Hunter and his accomplishments,” said Hill.
