NA3HL announces monthly player awards for November

St. Louis Jr. Blues forward Jack Hatton named the Bauer Hockey NA3HL Forward of the Month, Yellowstone Quake defenseman Mason Stewart named the Bauer Hockey NA3HL Defenseman of the Month, and New Ulm Steel goalie Ryan Kenny named the Vaughn NA3HL Goaltender of the Month for November.

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced its monthly player awards for the month of November.  The Bauer Hockey NA3HL Forward of the Month is Jack Hatton of the St. Louis Jr. Blues.  The Bauer Hockey NA3HL Defenseman of the Month is Mason Stewart of the Yellowstone Quake.  The Vaughn NA3HL Goaltender of the Month is Ryan Kenny of the New Ulm Steel. Only players who are nominated by their respective teams are considered for the NA3HL monthly awards.

 

Bauer Hockey NA3HL Forward of the Month: Jack Hatton, St. Louis Jr. Blues

St. Louis forward Jack Hatton had himself an incredible month of November as he led all forward in the NA3HL in points. The native of Naperville, Illinois, scored nine times in just six games. He added 13 assists during that span as well. The veteran forward has 16 goals and 24 assists in 14 games so far this season. He is 2nd on the Jr. Blues in points. The highlight of his month came on November 11th and 12th as he put up 11 points in a two game sweep of the Jr. Thunderbolts. He had another six point weekend the following weekend against division rival Peoria.

Bauer Hockey NA3HL Defenseman of the Month: Mason Stewart, Yellowstone Quake

Yellowstone Quake defenseman Mason Stewart has been electrifying in the month of November as he recorded at least a point in all seven games played. His best performance came on Thanksgiving weekend as he notched seven assists in a weekend sweep over Gillette. He finished November with three goals and 12 assists. Currently, the Maple Valley, Washington native leads the league with 40 assists and 50 points. Stewart is most deadly on the power play, as 16 of his 40 helpers have come with the man advantage.

Vaughn NA3HL Goaltender of the Month: Ryan Kenny, New Ulm Steel

The month of November was one to remember for Ryan Kenny and the New Ulm Steel as the netminder from Fort Lauderdale went 5-1 in six November starts. After dropping his first decision, Kenny has won five in a row, allowing just six goals in that span. His signature performance came on November 25th as he stopped all 40 shots the Granite City Lumberjacks threw his way en route to a 1-0 victory that earned Kenny his second shutout of the season. For November, Kenny had a goals against average of just 1.41 while holding a .962 save percentage. On the year, Kenny is 7-3 for the Steel and has a goals against average of 1.97 and a save percentage of .942.
