Niagara Falls forward Logar gets call to the NAHL

The Niagara Falls PowerHawks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Andew Logar has been called up to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) to play for the Corpus Christi IceRays.
Logar, 20, is in his final season playing in the NA3HL. He has played in the NA3HL/NA3EHL for the past three seasons for the Niagara Falls/Lockport franchise. The 2017-18 season has been a great one for the Niagara Falls, New York, native. In 21 regular season games to date, Logar (5’9/165) has put up 45 points (20 goals, 25 assists). His 45 points is currently tied for 7th in NA3HL league scoring.
In 109 career NA3HL/NA3EHL games, Logar has totalled 148 points, which includes 57 goals and 91 assists.
“Andrew has been nothing short of spectacular for us this season. He has been a leader on and off the ice with his work ethic and leadership. We have a pretty young team this year and he has been an excellent mentor for our young guys. He has exceptional speed, hands and vision and plays with a great deal of heart. We wish him the best with Corpus Christi,” said Powerhawks GM Frank Vecchio.
