Wisconsin defenseman Day makes college commitment

The Wisconsin Whalers of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Graham Day has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for the University of Jamestown.
The 21-year-old native of Oxford, Ohio, just completed his second a final season playing in the NA3HL for the Whalers.
Day (6’6/240) began the 2017-18 season playing for the Willmar WarHawks, but was traded to the Whalers after seven games. In 27 games with Wisconsin, Day recorded 6 points from the blueline.
In 69 career NA3HL games between Wisconsin and Willmar during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, Day record nine points.
“Graham is a great competitor and brings it every game and practice. We are very happy for him,” said Whalers head coach Tom McDermott.
