3HL graduate commits to UMass-Lowell

UMass-Lowell recruit Zack Kamrass played two seasons in the 3HL from 2006-08.

Zack Kamrass, who played in the North American 3 Hockey League (3HL) with the Cincinnati Cobras and Queen City Steam from 2006-08, has committed to the University of Massachusetts-Lowell (Hockey East) for next season.

Kamrass, a defenseman, played the last two seasons with the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League where he collected 39 points (six goals) and a plus-30 rating. 

This past season, the 20-year-old from Atlanta posted 26 points (three goals) in 53 games while also serving as assistant captain for the Stampede. 

Kamrass played the 2008-09 season with the Springfield Jr. Blues of the North American Hockey League where he recorded a pair of goals and 10 assists in 50 games.
