Long Beach 3 @ Bay State 0 – The Sharks widened their lead for 2nd place in the East Division thanks to a 3-0 shutout of Bay State on Wednesday as sharks goalie Ryo Murakami equaled a season-high 30 saves in the shutout, which was his second shutout of the season.
Jake Weikel scored twice in the Sharks win, which included the game’s first goal just 2:04 into the contest. Later in the 1st period, Walker Montgomery would add a goal to make it 2-0.
Weikel would score his second goal of the game early in the 3rd period to make it a 3-0 final.
Bobcats goalie Braeden Bovey made 30 saves in the loss.
