3HL launches Movember campaign

During November each year, ‘Movember’ is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the United States and around the world. With their Mo's, these men raise vital awareness and funds for men's health issues.  This year, the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced that it will be a part of Movember with their own campaign involving all 17 teams and the almost 400 players in the league.

By joining one of the NA3HL teams, fans will automatically be a part of the their team’s NA3HL Network page which is a great way to connect with the other teams and individuals and keep up to date with the other Movember Moustache merchants. Fans are encouraged to tweet pictures of their Mo's (mustaches) to @NA3HL and follow each team's progress through the NA3HL's Movember Network Page.

Fans and players alike are encouraged to register at www.movember.com.  Once registered, you are ready to help Movember continue to Change the Face of Men’s Health. Donations to your favorite team will accumulate under each teams account. Although Mo Bros don’t begin to grow until Movember 1st, October is the most important time for Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to register. To follow/donate to your favorite team, click their link below:

The NA3HL Movember campaign is all about bringing back the moustache, having fun and doing it for a serious cause; men's health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.  Here is how it works: First, players in the NA3HL will start Movember 1st clean shaven. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Also supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, the NA3HL and their Movember Mo Bros raise funds for awareness for their Mo-growing efforts.  Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November.

In 2011, over 854,000 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas around the world got on board, raising $126.3 million USD. Each year, in increasing numbers, communities across America are embracing the moustache and getting on board with Movember. The levels and types of support vary from one community to the next, but the combined impact of these grassroots efforts play a vital role in helping Movember achieve its awareness and fundraising goals.
