Michigan Mountain Cats 4 @ Battle Creek Revolution 1: John Arms scored two goals and added an assist as the Michigan Mountain Cats defeat the Battle Creek Revolution on the road. Arms added two goals in the second period and assisted on Michael Kavlakians third period goal to make the majority of the Mountain Cats offense. Battle Creek goalie Zach Kooi was sensational stopping 38 of 42 shots but the Mountain Cats consistent offense was just too much for the Revolution. Boxscore

Chicago Jr. Bulldogs 2 @ Peoria Mustangs 6: Chance Homerin scored two goals as the Peoria Mustangs finished the sweep of the Chicago Jr. Bulldogs winning 6-2. The Mustangs scored six straight including two from Homerin, his third and fourth of the weekend. Matt Kostopoulos scored a shorthanded goal late in the third period for the Bulldogs. The Mustangs finish up the weekend with a perfect record for their new Head Coach Steve Ortman, who was promoted in the offseason. Boxscore

North Iowa Bulls 9 @ Breezy Point North Stars 1: The North Iowa Bulls fired 67 shots on the Breezy Point goaltenders and rode a six goal second period to defeat the North Stars 9-1. Timothy Santopoalo scored two goals and two assists, including the first goal of the game. Crosby Steen scored on the power play late in the third period for the North Stars, which was Steens third of the weekend. Boxscore

Toledo Cherokee 2 @ Pittsburgh Vengeance 5: Three Vengeance players scored two points as the Pittsburgh team split the weekend series beating the Toledo Cherokee 5-2. Kevin Kenny and Tyler Speis both tallied a goal and an assist while Tom Diffendal added two assists to pace the Vengeance on offense. Tyler Zalecki and Austin Turner were the only two Cherokee players to beat Vengeance goaltender Jason Kumpfmiller, who stopped 27 of 29 shots. Boxscore

Cincinnati Swords 4 @ Metro Jets 3 (SO): Emil Sundstrom and Nick Haase scored in the shootout while Joe Sheppard stopped all four attempts as the Cincinnati Swords edged out the Metro Jets 4-3 in a shootout. Zach Kopinksi added two goals for the Metro Jets during regulation but it wasn’t enough. The Swords offense in regulation came in the form of goals form Jessie Fracassi, Braden Smith and Henry Smith. Twin City Steel 2 @ St. Louis Jr. Blues 12: Alexander Carlsson scored five points in addition to two other teammates tallying four points as the St. Louis Jr. Blues netted 12 goals in their win over the Twin City Steel. Carlsson scored two goals and added three assists as fellow teammates Alex Klaesner added four assists and Andrew Kovacich added a goal and three assists in a game where the Jr. Blues were just too much for the Twin City squad. Twin City forward Brennan Olsen was involved in both Twin City goals, scoring one and assisting on the other. Boxscore

Flint Junior Generals 6 @ Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 7 (SO): The Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks scored four straight and Alex Buban converted on 17th attempt in the shootout to beat the Flint Junior Generals 7-6. The Lumberjacks overcame a 5-2 deficit after the second period to take the lead before Flint forward Justin Fisher scored with three seconds left in regulation to take the game to extra time. Cleveland goalie Tyler Jansen stopped all eight shooters in the shootout on top of having 49 saves in regulation and overtime to earn the W for the Lumberjacks. Boxscore
