In Saturday's showdown, Hess netted two goals where the Generals won 8-1. The Hanover, MA native has played in 37 games this season where he’s scored 10 goals and 17 assists.

RoadRunners netminder Jimmy Packee was a force between the pipes over the weekend picking up back-to-back wins, including a shutout. Packee, a native of Fairbanks, AK, was tremendous in net against the South’s top ranked New Mexico Ice Wolves. On Friday night, Packee posted a 38 shot shutout win where the RoadRunners won 4-0. Jimmy took to the crease again in Saturday night’s contest, where the RoadRunners were victorious in overtime winning 2-1. In that game, Packee turned away 33 shots. This season the Alaskan holds a 14-2 record, a 1.45 GAA and a .947 SV%.

In his first showing against Danbury, Farmer added a goal and an assist, then followed up the next night by adding two goals and two assists. Frontier Division Star of the Week: Matthew Ryynanen, Goalie, Bozeman Ice Dogs

Bozeman netminder Matthew Ryynanen picked up two crucial wins in the Frontier Division standings heading towards the end of the regular season. Ryynanen, a native of Houghton, MI, was strong between the pipes over a two game set against the Badlands Sabres. Ryynanen posted a 1.50 GAA and a .955 SV% after only allowing three goals off of 72 shots on net. Matthew holds a 18-11-0-1 record so far this season with a 3.42 GAA and a .903 SV%.

The Buffalo, NY netminder started the weekend off with a bang, stopping 29 shots in a 2-1 shootout victory. In the following game, Thome was red-hot in net, stopping 18 shots in the Drillers 2-1 overtime win, sweeping the Brahmas. Thome holds a 7-2-0-1 record with a 2.68 GAA and a .904 SV%.

In the following contest, where the Lumberjacks won 8-1, Lehet stopped 25 shots for a 1.00 GAA and a .952 SV%. In a meetup against Danbury, the Buffalo, NY native stopped 35 of 38 shots in the win. Thome took over the net again on October 1st where he stopped an outstanding 49 shots and only allowed one goal to earn his fifth win of the year. Thome is undefeated in between the pipes this season with a perfect 5-0 record. He has combined for a 2.552 GAA and a .934 SV%.

The Roanoke, VA native followed up that performance with a five-point night with a goal and four assists, then ended the weekend with a goal to earn the Capitals a weekend sweep. Fuller has played in three games this season and has totalled 10 points.

After his outstanding start, the 5'10”/175 lbs netminder blanked the Brahmas again after stopping 26 shots. During those two games, Zenone stopped a total of 45 shots, a 0.00 GAA and a 1.00 SV%.
