Mid Cities names Hille as new Head Coach

April 21, 2022

The Mid Cities Jr Stars have named Christopher Hille as the team’s new Head Coach for the 2022-23 season.

Hille is a native of Hampton, Virginia and began playing hockey at the age of 5. He was the captain of his team for two of the three years he attended Williston State College before playing at the University of Central Oklahoma where he was captain of the team his senior year.

After college he served as a regional scout for UCO, before stepping into the Head Coach and Assistant GM position for the Oklahoma City Ice Hawks of the NA3HL this past season.

Coach Hille believes he can bring a new dynamic to the Stars and is eager for the start of this season. The Stars finished in 7th place in the South Division this past season with a 10-37-0 record with 20 points.

In addition to Hille, the Stars have named Andrew Lind as the team’s new Assistant Coach.
