Yellowstone forward Kelly gets call to the NAHL
January 31, 2017
The Yellowstone Quake, proud members of the NA3HL, have announced that forward Reed Kelly has been called up to the NAHL to play for Springfield Jr. Blues.
The Somerset, Wisconsin native has 28 goals and 42 assists for 70 points on the year up to this point. Kelly, 19, brings a skill set to the game that has helped not only himself, but his teammates in many ways.
Kelly was named the Frontier Division star of the week back in December when he had a 10-point weekend in two games. Kelly had six goals, four assists, and was a +8 in the Quake’s weekend sweep.
Kelly (5’8/176) is in his second season with the Quake in the NA3HL.
“Reed has been really consistent this year throughout with his development as an individual. He creates time and space to help his teammates have success as well. He has deserved this opportunity to move up and see what he can do in the NAHL. He is a fun player to watch, and we are excited for his success going forward and wish him the best of luck with Springfield,” said General Manager and Head Coach Ryan Theros.
