St. Louis forward Campbell named to NHL Central Scouting mid-term rankings
January 13, 2020
The St. Louis Jr. Blues, proud members of the NA3HL, are excited to announce that forward Seamus Campbell has made the 2020 mid-term draft rankings released by the NHL’s Central Scouting Service.
Campbell is currently projected as a late-round prospect amongst North American skaters with draft eligibility.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, and an NAPHL alumnus with CarShield AAA, the 6'0/155 lbs. winger has provided a solid impact in his first season of junior hockey. In 35 games for St. Louis, Campbell has scored nine goals and added 21 assists. Earlier this year, he earned a call-up to the Springfield Jr. Blues of the NAHL, where he scored a goal in his first game.
“Obviously we are thrilled to see Seamus get recognized by NHL Central Scouting for his potential,” said Jr. Blues head coach Chris Flaugher. “He’s a young player with a good skill-set that has a high upside.”
Campbell also makes history as the first active NA3HL player to make the NHL Central Scouting midterms. “Seamus still has a lot of work to do, but this is something he can be proud of,” added Flaugher.
