Bay State forward Justice makes NCAA commitment
The Bay State Bobcats of the NA3HL are thrilled to announce that forward and captain Zak Justice has committed to play NCAA Division III Hockey for Rivier University for the 2021-22 season.
Through 14 games, Justice, 20, has accumulated a total of 18 points (6 goals and 12 assists) and is averaging 1.29 points per game in the competitive East Division of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL).
“Zak is a phenomenal kid. His work effort is second to none. He continues to outwork his opponents all over the ice and sees much success from it. We couldn’t be more excited to assist him in his development to the Collegiate level. Rivier is getting a hockey player who works hard on and off the ice,” said Bobcats Head Coach Anthony Langevin.
Back in October, Rivier University announced they had added men’s and women’s hockey in the fall of 2021. Located in Nashua, NH, the Raiders will play at Conway Arena in town.
The 5’10/180 lbs. native of Bemidji, MN, came to the Bobcats via a trade earlier in the season with the Rochester Grizzlies.
Justice spent the entire 2019-20 season with the Grizzlies in the NA3HL, recording 17 points in 33 games played.
The entire Club would like to congratulate Zak and his Family on the accomplishment. Best of luck to the Raiders next season!
