Long Beach goalie Skirpan makes college commitment
The Long Beach Sharks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that goaltender Greyson Skirpan has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for Drury University.
Skirpan, 20, just completed his second and final season playing junior hockey in the NA3HL. The 6’0/155 lbs. native of Philadelphia, PA, had his best career season between the pipes for the Sharks in 2021-22.
Skirpan appeared in 24 regular season games and recorded a 10-8-6 record, which included a 2.82 goals against average and a .919 save percentage.
During the 2020-21 season, Skirpan posted a 5-11-3 record along with a 4.44 goals against average and a .901 save percentage.
“Greyson has been the foundation to the success of the Sharks throughout his two years with the organization. His commitment and dedication to his craft has propelled him to this success and eventually achieve his goal of playing college hockey,” said Sharks head coach Chris Lloyd. “Drury University will be getting that same foundation to their program that we received two years ago when Greyson walked in the doors of Long Beach Arena. Congratulations to Greyson and his family on his commitment and wish him all the best the next 4 years.”
