Willmar forward Hendrickson makes NCAA commitment
The Willmar WarHawks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Mason Hendrickson has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN.
Hendrickson, 21, just finished his third and final season of junior hockey. The 6'0/180 lbs. native of Minnetonka, MN, had 13 points (1 goal, 11 assists) in 13 games this season for the WarHawks.
Prior to joining the WarHawks this year, Hendrickson played 67 games in the North American Hockey League for the Amarillo Wranglers and Minnesota Magicians over the past two seasons, including a trip to the Robertson Cup as a member of the Magicians last year.
In 57 career NAHL games, he recorded 8 points.
"Mason was a fantastic addition to our team this season. He is a player who has a great knowledge of the game, can play in any role, and has a ton of NAHL experience over the past two seasons. I think he will have a great college career for the Gusties,” stated WarHawks Head Coach Kirk Olimb.
The WarHawks congratulate Mason on his college commitment and wish him all the best as his hockey career continues to move forward.
