Oregon forward Tenezaca makes NCAA commitment
The Oregon Tradesmen of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are very pleased to announce that forward Jason Tenezaca has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Concordia University Wisconsin.
Tenezaca, 20, just completed his second season of playing junior hockey within the NA3HL, both spent with the Oregon Tradesmen organization. The 5’10/174 lbs. native of Niles, Illinois played 47 regular season games for the Tradesmen in the 2021-22 campaign, recording 43 points (21 Goals, 22 Assists) in that span. Tenezaca also appeared in five 2022 Fraser Cup playoff games where he recorded three goals.
Overall, Tenezaca has played in 85 career NA3HL regular season games and recorded 52 points.
Tenezaca was selected to and participated in the 2022 NA3HL Top Prospects tournament at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. Representing Team White for two games, he scored a pair of goals and had an assist.
Prior to playing junior hockey, Jason played three seasons for the Stokie Flyers 18U AA program. He is the fourth skater from Oregon who has made a college commitment this season.
