Titans move into playoff spot with win on Wednesday

Danbury 3 @ New Jersey 4 – The Titans won their third straight game and moved into the 4th and final playoff spot thanks to a 4-3 win on Wednesday. Caleb Belland had two goals and Payton Fobes had a goal and two assists in the win. Danbury went up 1-0 early in the 1st period thanks to a goal from Lou Caulfield. The Titans then scored three straight goals from Belland, Fobes, and George Hinds to take a 3-1 lead. Danbury tied the game in the 2nd period with a pair of goals from Oleg Egorov. In the 3rd period, the second goal of the game from Belland proved to be the game-winner. Daniel Antal made 44 saves in the win, while Ryan Maguire made 25 saves in the loss.

Northeast 8 @ Bay State 1 – Phil Feinberg had two goals and an assist to lead the Generals to an 8-1 win over the Bobcats. The Generals took control from the start with 1st period goals from Owen Locke and Braeden Kennedy. The lead swelled to 5-0 in the 2nd period with goals from Caiden Hess, Mason Frary, and Feinberg. In the 3rd period, the Generals added three more goals from Micaiah Bascombe, Gabe Coppo, and Feinberg. Landen Schoonover scored the lone goal for the Bobcats late in the 3rd period. Luke Fundator made 21 saves in the win, while Aiden McGraw made 46 saves in the loss.

New Ulm 3 @ Granite City 7 – Tucker Skime had two goals and an assist and Hayden Johnson had three assists to lead the Lumberjacks to a 7-3 win. The game was very close through the first 30 minutes of action. Granite City led 4-3 thanks to a two goals from Skime and others from Christian Carto and Reed Hanus. The Steel got goals from Jackson Heim, Blake Biermaier, and Zach Dalzell. Later in the 2nd period, and into the 3rd period, the Lumberjacks pulled away with three straight goals from Paul Hulgen, Parker Comstock, and Kyle Mortenson. Ryan Lehet made 16 saves in the win, while Dixon Ehlers made 35 saves in the loss.
