Granite City forward Huglen makes NCAA commitment
The Granite City Lumberjacks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Paul Huglen has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Concordia College-Moorhead
Huglen, 19, began the 2022-23 season playing in the NAHL for the Bismarck Bobcats. Following six games with Bismarck, he was traded to the Wisconsin Windigo. While with the Windigo, he produced 12 points in 24 games played.
In mid-January, the 5’9/181 lbs. native of Roseau, MN, joined the Lumberjacks, where he has appeared in 11 NA3HL games to date and recorded 11 points.
“Even with Paul being here for a short amount of time, we are still extremely excited for him and this opportunity to play NCAA Division III hockey. He’s been pretty good for us in the time he’s been here. He will be a great player at the collegiate level,” said Co-Head Coach DJ Vold.
In 85 career NAHL and NA3HL games, Huglen has recorded 40 points.
