NA3HL announces Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending February 26, 2023. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Ethan Chesney, Forward, Peoria Mustangs
Ethan Chesney added 8 points in two games to earn the Central Division Star of the Week. The Elgin, IL native added a goal and an assist in the opening game of the weekend, then followed it up with an outstanding 6 point performance with a hat-trick and three assists. Chesney has played in 45 games this season and has totalled 66 points, which leads the Mustangs in scoring, with 30 goals and 36 assists.
2nd Star: Adam Prokop, G, Milwaukee Power

East Division Star of the Week: Phil Feinberg, Forward, Northeast Generals
Northeast forward Phil Feinberg recorded 6 points in three games to earn back-to-back East Division Star of the Week. Feinberg scored four goals and dished out two helpers to help the Generals to another perfect weekend. The Highland Ranch, CO native has played in 11 games this season recording 24 points.

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Luke Schleusner, Defenseman, Butte Cobras
Cobras defenseman Luke Schleusner earned the Frontier Division Star of the Week for the third consecutive time after totalling 9 points in two games. The blue-liner netted 2 goals and added 7 assists while maintaining a +8 rating. The Mountlake Terrace, WA native has appeared in 37 games this season and has totalled 63 points with 26 goals and 37 assists. Schleusner also leads all NA3HL defenseman in scoring and is the second top scorer for the Cobras.

South Division Star of the Week: Matvey Ivanov, Forward, Texas RoadRunners
RoadRunners forward Matvey Ivanov put on a show as he totalled 17 points in just two games. The San Ramon, CA native started his weekend with a hat-trick and an assist then followed it up with an unbelievable 13 point night with 5 goals and 8 assists. Ivanov has played in 41 games this year and has totalled 75 points with 36 goals and 39 assists. Ivanov is tied for second place in the NA3HL amongst all scorers.

West Division Star of the Week: Cal Levis III, Forward, Mason City Toros
Mason City Toros forward Cal Levis III earned the West Division Star of the Week after a three game performance. The Rogers, MN native tallied 6 points in those three games as he scored 5 goals and dished out an assist. Levis III has plate din 42 games this season where he has combined for 34 points with 21 goals and 13 assists.
