RoadRunners forward Love makes NCAA commitment
The Texas RoadRunners of NA3HL are happy to announce that forward and captain Tyler Love has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for New England College and playing for Tom Carroll’s Pilgrims beginning in the 2023-24 season.
Love, 20, was a two-time NA3HL Top Prospects selection was 5th overall in NA3HL scoring during the 2022-23 season with 77 points (34 goals, 33 assists) in 45 games played.
The 6’2/205 lbs. native of San Ramon, CA, lead his team to a 35-9-2-1 record and the first regular season title for the program in the South division.
Love who came to the RoadRunners for the 2021-22 season from the Tri Valley Blue Devils and Head Coach Mike Holmes instantly became a top player in the NA3HL capturing the South Division Rookie of the year honors.
The RoadRunners would also like to thank National Scouting Report and Thomas Calise with his work with Tyler along the way. Thomas played an big part in connecting with several programs that had interest in Tyler over the past two seasons.
The RoadRunners would like to wish all the best to Tyler and his new team and will be following them throughout the next few years. “Tyler will be missed here to say the least and we hope that he enjoys his new school and hockey program and shows why he was a great choice for Head Coach Tom Carroll,” said RoadRunners Head Coach Mike Beavis.
