Friday Finals: Oregon widens lead in Central with 7th straight win

Wausau forwards Antonio Gomez (#14 left) and Ricky Nelson (#28 right) combined for 10 points in an 11-1 win on Friday night.

Oregon Tradesmen 5 @ St Louis Jr. Blues 3: After a slow first period the Oregon Tradesmen scored three goals by Tyler Steuck, Easton Simpson,and Zak Molstad, and for the St. Louis Jr. Blues scored two goals by  Mason Wright, and Ryan Callahan making the score 3-2. In the third period the Oregon Tradesmen scored two more goals by Zak Molstad, and Jordan Larkee, and one goal for the St. Louis Jr. Blues scored by Kenneth Henning making the final score 5-3. Tyler Fromolz saved 33 shots for the win, while Jordan Behnen saved 38 shots in the loss.

Peoria Mustangs 1 @ Wausau Cyclones 11: Starting the night the Wausau Cyclones scored two goals by Connor Dvorak, and Antonio Gomez, and one goal for the Peoria Mustangs scored by Massimo Polistina making the score 2-1. In the second period the Wausau Cyclones scored four more goals by Ricky Nelson, Easton Plachetka, Dylan Chapman, and Dominick Bourdon making the score 6-1. In the third period the Wausau Cyclones scored five more goals, two by Antonio Gomez giving him the only hat trick of the night one goal by Chase Chapman, Connor Dvorak, and Dylan Chapman making the final score 11-1. Collin Lemanksi saved 35 shots for the win, while Mason West saved 18 shots and Kason Yamada saved 12 shots in the loss.

Atlanta Capitals 2 @ Texas RoadRunners 1: Starting the night off strong the Atlanta Capitals scored a goal by Brett Philips making the score 1-0. In the second period both teams scored a goal for the Atlanta Capitals it was Robbie Aranos, and for the Texas Road Runners it was JT Brugaletta making the score 2-1. After a slow third period the final score was 2-1. Alex Croy saved 28 shots for the win, while Krzystof Jakubowski saved 35 shots in the loss.

Sheridan Hawks 4 @ Yellowstone Quake 3: Starting the night off in the first period the Sheridan Hawks scored two goals by Kaden Lansing, and Dome Szabo making the score 2-0. In the second period the Sheridan Hawks scored two more goals by Daniel Shelden, and Daniil Viscu, and three goals for the Yellowstone Quake scored by Owen Schoonover, Sebe Perez, and Joey Good making the score 4-3. After a slow third period the final score was 4-3. Zach Broxterman saved 34 shots for the win, while John Simon saved 42 shots in the loss.

Gillette Wild 5 @ Badlands Sabres 3: Starting the night off the Gillette Wild scored three goals by Davis Paulsen, Roddick Simons, and Adam Severson, and the Badlands Sabres scored one goal by Brady Ridnour making the score 3-1. In the second period the Badlands Sabres scored two more goals by Ryan Jordan, and Easton Knoll tying the score 3-3. In the third period the Gillette Wild scored two more goals by Cade Voge, and Payton Kor making the final score 5-3. Willmar WarHawks 1 @ Rochester Grizzlies 4: In the first period the Rochester Grizzlies scored a goal by Aiden Emerich making the score 1-0. In the second period the Rochester Grizzlies scored two more goals both by Luke Sawicky, and one goal for the Willmar War Hawks scored by Brayden Buckingham making the score 3-1. Helena Bighorns 5 @ Bozeman Ice Dogs 4: The Helena Bighorns scored three goals in the first by Braden Cunningham, Tim Mattingly, and Camden Cunningham, and two goals for the Bozeman Ice Dogs scored by Mason Czarnecki, and Andrew Kaunas making the score 3-2. Northeast Generals 4 @ New Jersey Titans 2: Starting the night off in the first the Northeast Generals scored one goal by John Rodgers making the score 1-0. In the second period the Northeast Generals scored another goal by Sean Gorman making the score 2-0. In the third both teams scored two goals for the Northeast Generals, Gabe Vijuk, and Colin March, and for the New Jersey Titans was George Hinds, and Lucas Carney making the final score 4-2.
