NA3HL announces Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending November 19, 2023. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Travis Visvadra, Goalie, Peoria Mustangs
Peoria netminder Travis Visvadra had a fantastic showing in a win against the Central Divisions top ranked team. The Huntley, IL native stopped 38 of the 40 shots he faced in a 4-2 victory over the West Bend Power. Visvadra combined for a 2.00 GAA and a .950 SV%.
2nd Star: Tyler Steuck, Forward, Oregon Tradesmen
Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Vicktor Budik, F, Wisconsin Woodsmen – Jack Laser, F, Wisconsin Woodsmen – Sam Knight, D, Oregon Tradesmen
East Division Star of the Week: Payton Fobes, Forward, New Jersey Titans
New Jersey Titans forward Payton Fobes added a hat-trick in one game to earn the East Division Star of the Week. In a 4-3 win over the New Hampshire Jr. Mountain Kings, the Howell, NJ native netted a goal in the second period, and then two in the third for the hat-trick. Fobes has appeared in 22 games this season and has recorded 16 points.

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Ty O’Bey, Forward, Great Falls Americans
Great Falls forward Ty O’Bey combined for 6 points over two games to earn the Frontier Division Star of the Week. The Ashland, WI native posted four points with one goal and three assists to start the weekend. In the following contest, the forward added a goal and an assist. O’Bey has been in the lineup in 19 games this year where he has totaled 28 points.

South Division Star of the Week: Riley Burnett, Goalie, Louisiana Drillers
Drillers netminder Riley Burnett picked up two huge wins for his club against the New Mexico Ice Wolves. The Mankato, MN native stopped a total of 43 shots, only allowing three goals in one game, and also posting a 27-shot shutout win. Burnett combined for a 1.50 GAA and a .935 SV% over those two games.

West Division Star of the Week: Justin Wasvick, Forward, Alexandria Blizzard
Alexandria Blizzard forward Justin Wasvick totaled four points over two games to earn the West Division Star of the Week. The Grand Forks, ND native added two assists in his first showing of the weekend, then followed that up with another two-point game with a goal and an assist. Wasvick has played in 16 games this season where he has accumulated 20 points.
