Sunday Wrap Up: Tradesmen Clinch Playoff Berth with Comeback Victory

Anthony Lipsky scored four times in the RoadRunners win on Sunday

Oregon Tradesmen 4 @ St Louis Jr Blues 3 (SO): In the first period the St Louis Jr Blues scored three goals by Ryan Callahan, one by Cody Patton, and one by Mason Wright, and one for the Oregon Tradesmen scored a goal by Reid Watson making the score 3-1. In the second period, the Oregon Tradesmen scored a goal by Bryce Stensrud making the score 3-2. In the third period, the Oregon Tradesmen scored a goal by Bryce Stensrud tying the game at three and forcing overtime. In the shootout, Stensrud scored the only goal giving the victory to the Tradesmen. Tyler Fromolz earned the win in goal, stopping all 29 shots he faced in relief and all three shooters in the shootout. Jordan Behnen stopped 31 shots in the loss.

Mid-Cities Jr Stars 2 @ Texas RoadRunners 12: In the first period the Texas RoadRunners scored five goals three by Anthony Lipsky giving him a Hat Trick, one by Noble Cook, and Carson Spear making the score 5-0. In the second period, the Texas RoadRunners scored seven goals by Adrian Sanchez, Noah Easterson, Anthony Lipsky giving him a Haul, two by Carson Spear giving him a Hat Trick, one by Mason Bertelsen, and one by Brayden Bibby, and two goals for the Mid Cities Jr Stars scored by William Heskett, and Kade Brayman making the score 12-2. After a slow third period, the final score was 12-2.  Hunter Houle saved 19 shots for the win, while Kameron Ragon saved 47 shots and Maverick Sweeney saved 11 shots in the loss.

New Hampshire Jr Mountain Kings 3 @ Long Beach Sharks 2: In the first period the New Hampshire Jr Mountain Kings scored two goals by Tyler Tsoukalas, and Xander St Pierre making the score 2-0. In the second period, the New Hampshire Jr Mountain Kings scored a goal by Jory Veenstra, and one goal for the Long Beach Sharks scored by Nolan Nemecek making the score 3-1. In the third period, the Long Beach Sharks scored a goal by Nolan Nemecek making the final score 3-2. Manny Pantow saved 26 shots for the win, while Jackson Black saved 38 shots in the loss.

El Paso Rhinos 2 @ Louisiana Drillers 1: After a slow first period we headed into the second where the Louisiana Drillers scored a goal by Johnathon Berndt making the score 1-0. In the third period, the El Paso Rhinos scored a goal by an unknown player making the score 1-1. In the shootout, the goal went to the El Paso Rhinos making the final score 2-1. Ryan Piekarski saved 31 shots for the win, while Sebastian Thome saved 23 shots in the loss.
