Bighorns goaltender Lamont makes ACHA Commitment

The Helena Bighorns of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goaltender Alex Lamont has committed to play ACHA DI hockey for the University of Jamestown. 

Lamont, 20, wrapped up his second and final season of junior hockey in the NA3HL. The Minneapolis, MN native began his NA3HL career during the 2022-2023 season with the Alexandria Blizzard, suiting up for 17 games, posting a 12-4-0-0 record for a GAA of 2.560 and save percentage of .902.

During his time with the Bighorns, the ‘03 netminder recorded a 13-1-0-0 record in addition to maintaining a 2.172 GAA and a save percentage of .899. Through two seasons, Lamont tallied a total of 4 shutouts and was mostly recently crowned a 2023-2024 Fraser Cup Champion. 

Bogan is the eighth player to commit for the Bighorns this season.
