Alexandria defenseman Prochaska makes NCAA Commitment
The Alexandria Blizzard of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Aiden Prochaska has committed to play NCAA DIII hockey for Gustavus Adolphus College in the MIAC.
Prochaska, 20, is a two-year NA3HL player, appearing in 72 regular season games for Alexandria. During his time with the Blizzard, the Mankato, MN native registered 38 points (6 goals, 32 assists), while maintaining a plus-minus of +30.
This season, of his 5 goals, the 6’3” blueliner scored 2 game winning goals in addition to 2 power play goals. His best game to date came on February 28th as Prochaska tallied 1 goal and 2 assists.
“We are very excited for Aiden and his opportunity to move on and play college hockey. Aiden is a great young man on and off the ice and will no doubt have a great college career because of that. The whole Blizzard organization wishes Aiden the best of luck” stated Blizzard Head Coach Jeff Crouse.
