Ice Dogs defenseman Fries makes ACHA Commitmen

The Bozeman Ice Dogs of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Ben Fries has committed to play ACHA DII hockey for Maryville University. 

After a short stint with the Texas Brahmas during the 2021-2022 season, the Denver, CO native made the switch to the Bozeman Ice Dogs where he would spend the next two years to round out his NA3HL career. 

Over the course of 67 games, Fries tallied 19 points (2 goals, 17 assists), his best game coming on January 13th as Fries notched 3 assists during a 3-2 win over the Great Falls Americans. 

Prior to starting his junior career, Fries appeared in 19 NAPHL 18U games for the Dallas Penguins and Texas Jr. Brahmas. 

Fries is the 2nd player to commit for the Ice Dogs this season.
