June 20, 2024

The Mason City Toros of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are pleased to announce that goaltender Devin Peck has signed a NAHL tender agreement with the North Iowa Bulls of the NAHL’s Central Division.

Peck, 18, played his first year of junior hockey with the Mason City Toros, appearing in 26 games, posting a  14-10-1 record, including two shutouts on the year. The Colorado Springs, CO native maintained a goals against average of 2.56 and a save percentage of .902, tallying 6 consecutive wins, his best win of the year being a 31 save shutout against the Granite City Lumberjacks on March 8th.

Prior to his junior career, Peck spent the 2020-21 season in the NAPHL at the 15U level with the Colorado Springs Tigers, appearing in a total of 6 games, 3 of which being Dixon Cup Playoff games.

Peck is the second player to tender for Mason City.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include one (1) tender exclusively used on players from the NA3HL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2024 NAHL Draft.
